Legality
Danish law allows the sale of cannabis products as long as the THC content is below 0.2%, and the products do not contain HHC, HHC-P, THC-P, or H4CBD.
All our products comply with these limits and are therefore 100% legal under Danish law.
The products we sell are 100% legal. However, the police cannot distinguish between our products and illegal cannabis products. Based on our customers’ experience, they usually take no further action as long as the products remain in their original packaging.
If they do choose to confiscate the products, it’s important that you request a lab test of the products and a receipt for the confiscation. After testing, any charges will be dropped, as our products, as mentioned, are 100% legal under Danish law.

Industrial hemp is the legal term for cannabis grown with a THC content below 0.2%. It is legal to cultivate and trade in many jurisdictions due to its low THC content, even though it is still a variety of cannabis.
Our industrial hemp is grown under controlled conditions, and all products undergo extensive lab testing to ensure quality and safety.
Cannabinoids
THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in raw, unheated cannabis. It is the precursor to THC and is present in the plant in its unprocessed state.
How is THCA formed?
THCA develops in the cannabis plant as it grows. It represents the natural, unaltered form of THC before undergoing any change caused by heat or processing.
Why is THCA relevant?
THCA is a fundamental part of the cannabis plant’s natural composition. In its raw form, it is often used in lab testing to evaluate cannabinoid profiles in cannabis products.
Is THCA legal?
Yes, THCA is legal in Europe as long as the final product remains below the 0.2% THC limit defined by law. All our THCA-enhanced products meet this requirement and are thoroughly tested to ensure legal compliance.
How does THCA fit into Weedshop’s selection?
We use natural THCA isolate, carefully extracted and included in select products in its raw form. All our items are sold as sealed collector’s pieces and remain 100% legal under Danish law.a
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is a central part of the plant’s cannabinoid profile and is used for the legal classification of cannabis products.
How is THC measured?
THC levels are measured by independent lab analysis, which determines whether a product meets the legal limit. In Denmark, THC content must be below 0.2% for a product to be sold legally.
Is THC legal?
Only in very limited amounts. In Denmark, cannabis products are legal only if their THC content is below 0.2%. Anything above this limit is considered illegal and subject to stricter regulations.
Is THC present in Weedshop’s products?
Yes — within legal limits. All our products are lab-certified to ensure that the THC content does not exceed 0.2%, fully complying with Danish law.
CBN (cannabinol) is one of the many naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is particularly notable as a byproduct of THC, forming over time as THC is exposed to air and light.
How is CBN formed?
CBN arises through the oxidation and breakdown of THC. This process occurs naturally, so CBN is often found in older cannabis plant material.
Why is CBN relevant?
Although not as well-known as THC or CBD, CBN is receiving increasing attention in research circles. As part of the plant’s complex cannabinoid profile, CBN is often analyzed in lab tests to better understand product composition.
Is CBN legal?
Yes, CBN is legal in Denmark as long as the product complies with current regulations, including the 0.2% THC limit. Any products of ours that may contain CBN are independently tested to ensure legal compliance.
How does CBN fit into Weedshop’s selection?
CBN may be present in small amounts in some of our souvenir products, especially those carefully processed and preserved. All items are sold as sealed collector’s products and meet all Danish legal requirements.
CBD oil is a product made by combining cannabidiol (CBD) — a naturally occurring cannabinoid in the cannabis plant — with a carrier oil such as hemp seed oil or MCT oil. It is one of the most recognized and widespread forms of CBD.
How is CBD oil produced?
CBD is extracted from industrial hemp grown with a THC content below 0.2%, in compliance with Danish law. The extract is then blended with a carrier oil to create the finished product. Every step is closely monitored to ensure high quality and legal compliance.
Why is CBD oil relevant?
CBD oil is valued for its versatility. It is used in various legal product types and is often lab-tested for purity, cannabinoid content, and compliance with regulations. It plays a central role in the growing hemp-based product market.
Is CBD oil legal?
Yes, CBD oil is legal in Denmark as long as it is made from approved industrial hemp varieties and contains less than 0.2% THC. All CBD oil products must be lab-tested and meet all applicable rules and guidelines.
